Parenting is not easy.
In today’s busy world, we could all use a little prayer, some encouragement and just a tad more support.
And good parenting? That takes, intentional, thoughtful, hard work.
Good teaching does as well.
So let’s help each other. Solomon understood the importance of partnership when he wrote:
“Two are better than one, because they have a good reward for their toil. For if they fall, one will lift up his fellow. But woe to him who is alone when he falls and has not another to lift him up! …And though a man might prevail against one who is alone, two will withstand him—a threefold cord is not quickly broken.” – Ecclesiastes 4:9-12
At Grace and Hope, we also understand the importance of partnership. We want to come alongside our parents and offer support in your journey. While parent associations are invaluable, our Parent Support Ministry will seek to meet the spiritual and emotional needs of our parents, so that they will first be better able to meet the needs of their children, and then, our school community.
We firmly believe it is a parent’s right and responsibility to “train up a child”, and understand that we are here to help equip them, and consider it an honor to help equip you.
Innovative, engaging and Christ-centered must not only describe our educational curriculum, it must describe our entire mission.
We are excited to announce that our plans for Parent Support Ministry include monthly online parenting classes, articles, encouraging tweets and emails, events, and more!
